ANNOUNCEMENT: Changes Coming to our Themes!
I’ve taken a night this week to do what I call… workflow enhancement. I’ve went in, made snippits of all of my most commonly used code, stripped out all the nonessentials, and made myself a handy starting point for themes. That’s all well and good, but I wanted something that would let me have easy access to all my clients at once – I’m not the newsletter sending kind of guy, so I opted for something better – a customized menu in WordPress
Pretty nifty, huh? This bad-body will allow clients to do 4 things: 1) view this site at any time, 2) send me a help request that goes to both my phone and my email address, 3) take a customer service survey to help me better myself and my work, and 4) will give clients quick access to their invoices through the app instead of having to search through email for the link.
I think it’s going to really help the themes, but also give clients an easy way to get any information from me, whether it’s financial or otherwise.
I’ve also included an “announcement” thread with this blog’s RSS feed to the dashboard – any time I have a post labeled “announcement”, it’s worth looking into.
If you’re a current client, and want this functionality added in now, simply let me know and I’ll install it for you. All future clients will have this installed by default.
