should be interesting to see if Chrome works more efficiently than FireFox and IE... if it's faster than Firefox, since isn't IE, then i'll use it

Haha... "Rust". That's great.

Feel free to link to your blog here, Andy - I'm a big dofollow guy, and if you have something to say, I hope my readers can get something out of it.

As far as what it means for the rest, (without reading your posts) I think that FF will adapt the Chrome technology (it IS opensource) but IE will fall by the wayside (at least, in the personal sector).

Chrome no likey the Flash. I have seen a couple of errors with the click hack that Microsoft forced on us last year and I've read about audio issues as well. Flash = no big loss IMO anyway.

Nice that you picked up on what's really important... how it multi-threads... All the other stuff is noise, as the browser likely will not even leave beta for a few years. I just blogged about what Chrome means to everyone else (competitors et al) . If Google's browser is Chrome, then people will start calling Internet Explorer "Rust"?

Think you left a little out of a thought. 'If there’s a hefty javascript that needs to be ran on-site, the rest of the page will load first and'

Hey - thanks for this! Chrome is pretty cool - well behaved on the all the sites I've tested so far. Q: I guess IE7 won't work anymore when you get IE8?
