I got a copy at Barnes & Noble the other day...sometimes it's nice to lay on the coutch and read a mag. I worry about staring at a monitor for 16 hours day sometimes...

Not sure - that's something you'll have to check with the magazine company with. Here in the states it's expensive to get a subscription - I get it off the shelf because it's actually the same if not cheaper.

I can't get hold of thi sin the UK - very frustrating because I'm a lover of Wordpress. Unlike creativeherb, I do LOVE to read books and magazines - how can your laptop help you when you're sitting on the toilet ?!!! It's lovely to get away from the distractions of the screen with a good read!

I was actually having a discussion with my Mrs about a few hours ago. This blog is very interesting, I have learnt something new. Cheers from London!

I agree about having a physical magazine instead of an e-book, not only for the smell of ink and glossy pages (as mentioned earlier), but just to get away from the screen for a while or when traveling to see clients it is a nice break!

I hope I will find it on eBay, because my local newspaper stands never heard of it.

The good old printed magazines is still my top choice. It is still something special to read a magazine the way it is supposed to be read. I actually prefer using printed newspapers, books, magazines etc for research for my blogs...

I live in Ukraine, can I get this magazine?

I absolutely love Wordpress and use it for all kinds of websites.

I'm a little late, but hopefully my local newstand hasn't sold out of this issue!

Have to agree with creativeherb about traditional media being much slower to catch up on technology. Especially things on the internet. I've noticed that newspapers are the worst of the lot, some of the writers sound like they might be two or three years behind. Still, magazines can't be beat on presentation though, especially IT ones (other than the articles which are a bit dry for non techies like me :) ).

I've bought this magazine and thought it was pretty good. I don't agree that paper based magazines are dying out

I picked this up on the newstand (didn't want to commit to a subscription quite yet) and found a lot of useful info.

Like others who've commented here, I subscribe to very few printed magazines anymore, but this one looks like it may be worth it. Thanks for the tip.

Is that book going to tell us anything we do not already know?

It's a great magazine! I've been subscribed to it for about 6 months now, and am constantly learning new things

I've managed to subscribe to this magazine - I don't believe there are any areas that aren't delivered to in the UK.

Strange, it's a UK-based magazine - does it not allow you to get it in certain areas?

I agree Iflexion, our office has been trying to use less paper and the improvement is poor. Everyday we receive glossy magazines and catalogues through the door.

I have to disagree with you, guys. It's a special perception when you hold on your hands a magazine, with glassy pages and a light smell of printing ink. I think it will never die...
And male audience (web designer is commonly a man) falls under these feeling as well as women or children.

I think traditional media is still trying to catch up to online media. The only time I buy hardcopy magazines is when I'm know I'll be waiting somewhere for a while.
