Hi,

it's interesting to see your approach how to get into the flow state. I have written about this recently on my blog, you can find the article here: http://www.blackberry-productivity.com/2008/07/...

Bernhard

You're right - it is hard. I've found that cranking up some smooth jazz empowers me with superhuman creativity, and I'm able to leap over coding challenges with a single bound.

Of course, the various coffeehouses, with the artsy decor also lend a hand to creating the Zen atmosphere that you're after... Unless you're at a Panera during the lunch rush, or the jazz is obnoxiously loud. Just about anything that kills stress typically helps.

Now, that being said, I have days where I need the driving, in-your-face progressive rock momentum. I bet you understand those too.
