I've found that cranking up some smooth jazz empowers me with superhuman creativity, and I'm able to leap over coding challenges with a single bound.<br><br>Of course, the various coffeehouses, with the artsy decor also lend a hand to creating the Zen atmosphere that you're after... Unless you're at a Panera during the lunch rush, or the jazz is obnoxiously loud. Just about anything that kills stress typically helps.<br><br>Now, that being said, I have days where I need the driving, in-your-face progressive rock momentum. I bet you understand those too.
