I know that I barely update the blog I have over at the studionashvegas home page, but the problem with that blog is that I am really limited to having WordPress stuff on there – that’s what the main topic of choice is, after all.  I wanted a place I could start talking about social media, public relations, and all of the personal stuff without cluttering up my “work” blog.

I don’t call this blog a “work” blog – I call it a “play” blog.  I get bogged down with all manner of coding and design stuff that I don’t get a chance to share the topics above much.  I have learned a great deal from both clients and friends whom I’ve met while traveling on this journey.  It’s been nearly two years since I created studionashvegas, and (while definitely not a smooth ride) it’s been the best ride I could have ever imagined.

This will serve as an outlet for different musings, thoughts, and other cool happenings in my life.  Some personal, some… too personal, and some just about things going on in the ‘sphere.

Yeah I have to agree... I used to be a webmaster myself so i know what im talking about when i say you do indeed create some good stuff... you concept of color is great and i like your simple yet stylish layout.

I'm asking because I notice your using the Facebook Connector plugin.

How do I get the Facebook profile picture to display within a users comment via Faceboook Connector

Great atmosphere I really like your study activity very much. Thanks for sharing with us.

You create good Logos I must say

Thank you :) I take pride in my work, and Connie's was one of my favorite logos to design.

I have had terrific feedback so far! People comment on liking the look of the site: colorful yet professional design. They are also excited about the messaging which we worked on together. I am pleased that the text will evolve with my business, and am looking forward to adding to the blog.

You suggested three colors for the business cards to give a "collectable" feel to them. It has certainly worked when I have handed out cards to groups, taking care to give different colors to different people. People are especially delighted when I hand them a favorite color!

All the best with future projects, Mitch!
