I have tried foursquare off and on using my iPhone. I am still a big fan of Gowalla. Foursquare, to me, relies to much on the user knowing the physical address of the place they are (if it is not in the system). Gowalla will let you create a spot using geo coordinates. I also like the collector aspect of Gowalla, getting stams for featured spots, collecting and vaulting items, etc.

Great Post Mitch. I even Check in at my house now…under a creative title and slightly ambiguous address….but, since I live and work there…it's an all day destination and I'm checking in by golly.
